718 apparently insurmountable, and realize the Vision of their
719 heart. They do not know the darkness and the heartaches;
720 they only see the light and joy, and call it "luck"; do not see
721 the long and arduous journey, but only behold the pleasant
722 goal, and call it "good fortune"; do not understand the
723 process, but only perceive the result, and call it "chance."
724 In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results,
725 and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result.
726 Chance is not. "Gifts," powers, material, intellectual, and
727 spiritual possessions are the fruits of effort; they are thoughts
728 completed, objects accomplished, visions realized.
729 The Vision that you glorify in your mind, the Ideal that you
730 enthrone in your heart - this you will build your life by, this
731 you will become.
