529 All that a man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the
530 direct result of his own thoughts. In a justly ordered
531 universe, where loss of equipoise would mean total
532 destruction, individual responsibility must be absolute. A
533 man's weakness and strength, purity and impurity, are his
534 own, and not another man's; they are brought about by
535 himself, and not by another; and they can only be altered by
536 himself, never by another. His condition is also his own, and
537 not another man's. His sufferings and his happiness are
