Candidate for the office of: National Area II Director

EXPERIENCE FOR THE OFFICE
As President of the DCPWC Chapter of TLOD, Inc since chartering in September 2008 through June 2012, increased
chapter’s membership by 15% each year, chartering of 13 Ladies in 2008, inducted 18 Ladies in 2009, 21 Ladies in
2011 and brought in 55 Top Teens from 2009-2011; the chapter was awarded 5-Star status at Syn-Lod in 2009,
retained 5 Star status in 2011 and won Area II and National Program of Work 2011; with our teens winning 2011 and
runner up 2013.

CAREER EXPERIENCE
Served in the United States Army as an Active Army officer achieving the rank of Colonel in various leadership roles
where I was responsible for the health and welfare for as little as one to over 5,000 individual military and civilians.

CIVIC / COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Supporter of NCNW, NAACP and March of Dimes

OTHER ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
An active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Life Silver Star for over 25 plus years, Currently serving under
Omicron Chi Omega as the Hostess Chairman (2015 & 2016) and served as the Membership Chairman (2013 & 2014).

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES
Active Member for over 14 years with Mt. Olive Baptist Church Woodbridge, VA where I serve as a section lead on the
Praise Team and Mass Choir. Also Served as an Assistant Children's Choir Director for two years (2014 & 2015).

PUBLICATIONS / HONORS / AWARDS
On February 11, 2011, The Honorable Corey Stewart, Chairman of the Prince William County, Board of County
Supervisors presented the chapter with a certificate for volunteerism during my term.
