2018 CA FORECAST:
JOBS
• Like the US, Job growth is expected to be slower than the previous years, but
unemployment will continue to decrease. Job growth will match the national
level and unemployment will be a few percentage points above the US
POPULATION
• California’s population will rise at the same rate as 2017
INCOME
• In California, the percentage of disposable income is predicted to be higher
than the last 5 years
