ISI Mastermind Brothers,
I’m stilling reeling from the excellent experience
at Evins Mill. I hope it was as fantastic for you as it was for me, I know I came back as a better man. It seemed to be 10X better than the event in the Fall, and I believe the reason is our guard is coming down. When you get real and transparent, that is when life changes. We are nally building on a solid foundation, and everyone seems to be meshing well. Many of you guys are connecting of ine, and several have forged working relationships. I hear daily of one on one accountability and introductions are rampant. I’ve seen many of you on the calls while on vacation and have heard of this ISI call being the highlight
of your week. All of these stories make me smile
out loud. I know from experience that the more you contribute, the more you will receive. I’m so excited to see the accountability scores increase and the amount of you that are consistently lling it out are growing as well. When I see the interaction on the All Hands Facebook I get excited as well as learn a lot myself. We have three exciting guests presenting on the All Hands Calls from an expert’s perspective on three important topics at the end of each month for the next three months; you won’t want to miss these. I guess all that is left to say is let’s go out there and crush it for the next 90 days. You guys are special!
What new knowledge are you putting into action?
Knowledge will not improve your world.
The biggest lie I’ve ever read is written on the ring on my nger. The of cial Naval Academy motto is “Through Knowledge, Sea Power”.
It’s wrong, laughably wrong even in Latin.
Knowledge is potential. Execution of knowledge is power.
In the ISI we all learn from each other and from
we read books. We can listen to podcasts and take self-assessments. We can learn more about the world and ourselves. We can nd out our super power, kryptonite, and blind spots. Today knowledge is free and accessible. Execution of that knowledge is rare, powerful.
In the past when people said “He’s well read” I’d take it as a compliment. Now I fear it’s a nice insult. Are they really saying:
• “He’s a mile wide and an inch deep”.
• “He’d rather learn than do”
• “He’d learn anything to avoid the deep work of doing”
I believe the men of the ISI are different. We seek knowledge and wisdom. Then we turn that potential into power. We are implementers in our business, personal, and spiritual life. We are changing our worlds.
