Pete W., Assistant Council Chair called the 884th meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Twelve Traditions read by Paul and Council Definition and Purpose read by Jerry. Welcome to 7 new Coordinators. Congratulations to those celebrating birthdays. Roll Call: Sober Tom, fill-in for Assistant Council Chair, reported 41 groups were represented out of 80 registered Coordinators. There was a quorum. (27). 7th Tradition: $54.00

H & I Representative: Gerry S. reported H&I takes AA meetings & literature into places where people can’t get out to go to meetings – jails, prisons, hospitals, etc. ”OUR EXPERIENCE CAN HELP OTHERS”. Volunteers are needed! Orientations - 3rd Sunday of each month at 12 noon @ Machinists’ Hall at 5150 Kearny Mesa Rd. San Diego, Ca. 92111, or 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at San Diego AA Central Office. Our subcommittee, Contact on Release, matches people being released from these facilities with AA volunteers who take them to meetings in their local area. It meets at the Machinists’ Hall on the 3rd Sunday at 10:30 AM. H&I “Spring Into Service” event will be held on May 19th, 9:30 am- 1:30 pm at Machinists Hall at 5150 Kearny Mesa Road. It will include Food, Speakers, Skits and the regular Orientation for those in need of becoming acclimated to the process of our service legacy and commitment to provide AA meetings in Hospitals and Correctional Institutions. Please come and join in the fellowship of service!

April Net Loss is (2,386). Our 2019 YTD Net Loss is (4,657). Group and Individual Contributions were 8,176. Literature Sales Revenue and CD Bank Interest were 1,070 while total office and committee expenses were 11,632.
