                PRODUCT NEWS
    TECPRO IN A TWISTER
TECPRO Australia has introduced new Twister Spray Heads to its product range, for those in need of high impact spray heads when it comes to cleaning large, tough areas.
The Twister Spray Heads are designed and manufactured in Europe. They are made from AISI 304 Stainless Steel, impact resistant POMO, and chemical resistant EPDM.
The spray heads can handle 16 bar water pressure at a flow of up to 500 l/min, as well as temperatures up to 60° Celsius.
They can be used by a simple twist to open, close and direct spray for ease of use to washdown large areas.
It is available in three different sized connections – 1” weighing 800gm, 3⁄4” weighing 460gm, and a 1⁄2” weighing 320gm.
The new Twister Spray Heads are available exclusively through Tecpro Australia.
HRS SIP AND CIP SYSTEMS
HRS Heat Exchangers have a range of cleaning-in- place (CIP) and sterilisation-in-place (SIP) systems, all of which are supplied complete with a control system to help achieve automated cleaning cycles.
To assist with quick and easy site installation, both single and multi-tank CIP and SIP systems are fully skid mounted with a modular design.
The multi-tank systems are designed for more complex settings, while the single-tank systems can be used for simple cleaning applications when recovery of cleaning fluid is not required.
Units start at 500 litre capacity, with single tank systems available up to 2,500 litres.
Larger systems can be provided using multiple tanks. Centrifugal sanitary
pumps are fitted as standard.
HRS ensures its systems are
fully automated using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and
Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI). These make
it possible for
systems to be stand-alone or
integrated into the factory’s main control
system.
MONITORING THE FLOW
A new flow switch/monitor from Fluid Components International has made its way to Australia, available through equipment distributor AMS Instrumentation & Calibration.
The Model FS10A Analyser Flow Switch/Monitor can be incorporated into gas and liquid process analyser sampling systems, and also features a SP76 adapter to support or integrate New Sampling/Sensor Initiative (NeSSI) standard compliant hardware.
For more than 20 years, the NeSSI has been an industry-driven effort to develop analyser and sensor standardisation.
As a NeSSI compliant device, the FS10A can be mounted onto a
standard fluidic interface for modular surface-mount components.
It can also conform to NeSSI Generation I, as well as being prepped
for Generation II and III compliance.
The FS10A Analyser Flow Switch/Monitor is suited for ongoing
monitoring of analyser sample flows, offering high integrity process
analysis without interruption. Its LED display allows users visibility of flow rate trend, alarm status and power on/off options.
It can be used with most types of process and emissions sampling systems such as gas chromatographs (GCs), mass spectrometers, optical spectrometers, and photometers.
NORD DRIVES TO THE MAXX
THE Maxxdrive industrial gear unit portfolio, based on the Nord Drivesystems modular system, is used when high output torques and powers are required. It covers all industrial application fields up to 282 kNm, allowing for standardised and tailor-made drive solutions.
The combination of motor, gear unit, coupling and braking system enables a precisely planned complete unit that can be supplied ready-to-install, mounted on a motor swing base or a base frame. As an alternative, the motor attachment can be realised via an IEC/NEMA adapter.
The mechanical and thermal design of all Nord industrial gear units is based on existing operating data of the application and on the ambient conditions at the installation site. This ensures maximum individualisation with the Maxxdrive portfolio, creating drive systems which aim to fulfil the highest demands in terms of reliability and long service life.
In addition, Nord also offers predictive maintenance concepts specially designed for Maxxdrive industrial gear units.
       GOOD VIBRATIONS
VIBRATORY equipment manufacturer Enmin has introduced a new range of electromagnetic drives with Teflon coating for greater cathodic protection. The coating helps eliminate surface rust, making it the ideal surface finish for a food environment.
“For harsh cleaning and washdown environments within the food industry, our new Teflon coated drives are the perfect solution,” said Enmin general manager Anthony Gallaher.
Enmin’s electromagnetic drives offer a custom handling method for controlling the flow of product, parts and bulk materials. Products can be screened, sized, or accurately metered to ensure a smooth, uniform and fully variable flow.
“We strive to build reliable and durable equipment that can cope with the toughest environments. Our drives are no exception, and with minimal moving parts provide years of trouble-free operation. Their low maintenance and energy use ensure reliable, low-cost product handling.”
