Year 3 to the NSW HSC - Year 12 and Pathways to HSC programmed to suit the needs of the individual.
Main subjects: Classical ballet technique pointe class, pas de deux, ballet knowledge, pilates, circuit training, contemporary, repertoire, male coaching, jazz dance, hip hop, lyrical jazz, HSC Dance, HSC music, HSC acting, career advice, master classes and industry
based instruction.
ACADEMIC: NSW Board of Studies Curriculum from Year 3 to the Higher School Certificate.
Practical dance classes per week: Primary School up to 8 hours per week. Senior School up to 10 hours per week. Contact hours per day: Dependent upon course undertaken.
Pre-requisites/entry requirements:
A passion for performance and skill level commensurate with age.
Main teachers: Jane Kesby, Joshua Consandine, Nicky Gattorna, Lindsay Ellman-Brown, Jane Beckett, Dolores Dunbar, Amy Petsalis, Natalie Kuti, Stephen Clarke, Andrew Kobler, Norman Hall, Kaye Lopez, Judy Herskovits, Rae Edds-Gibson, Kathryn Hailey and other distinguished teaching faculty.
Audition date: Friday 14 June 2019, Friday 13 September 2019.
Audition requirements: Participation in an Entry Audition class in Dance, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Music or Acting. Scholarships or subsidies: Entry scholarships available.
Possible career options: Classical ballet companies, commercial dance, acting, contemporary companies and musicals.
