COURSES
NCBS full-time elite program.
Main subjects: Classical Ballet, Strength & Conditioning program, Pointe, Repertoire, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop.
Contact hours per day: 25+ Hrs per week + 10 contact tutoring hours through Cairns distance education. Pre-requisites/entry requirements: Acceptance by audition only, based on potential and strong competency in classical ballet and/or contemporary. Must be 12 years and older. Video audition available. Main teachers: Directors Zara Bartley and Daniel Convery and other local, national and international guest faculty. Audition date: Friday 11th October 2019. Scholarships or subsidies: Up to 1 x 50% scholarship offered per year. Possible career options: Have had 100% success rate to Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Moscow and the Dutch National Ballet Academy, Amsterdam in the past
12 months.
