                 Compressors, Condensers & Evaporators

New generation compressors
LG ELECTRONICS (LG) showcased its new compressors in the Component Solutions booth at AHR Expo 2023 last month.
The Gen 3 Scroll Compressors have been designed to meet the latest efficiency standards and offer improvement in terms of motor effi- ciency and friction reduction. LG's most effi- cient single-speed products to date, the new compressors are made with residential and commercial use in mind, and are perfect for both air conditioners and heat pumps.
The new compressors utilise eco-responsible low-GWP refrigerants, R454B and R32. Unlike the more commonly used R410A, which has a
GWP of around 2,088, the refrigerants employed by the company's latest models have a GWP lower than 750. LG is launching its compressors with low-GWP refrigerants to pre-emptively respond to refrigerant regulations that will come into force in 2025.
LG also showcased its large-capacity scroll compressors for commercial HVAC applica- tions. Among these are 6- to 12-tonne capacity models from the new, fixed-stage single line-up that can be used in tandem to provide a capacity of up to 24 tonnes, and LG's two-stage compres- sor products, which offer efficient operation and larger capacities.
Drives for
natural
refrigerants
SANHUA HAS DEVELOPED its latest gen- eration of Variable Speed Drives which are dedicated to hermetic scroll and rotary com- pressors and designed for applications using natural refrigerants such as CO2 (R744) and Propane (R290).
SD2 Variable Speed Drives have been developed to operate with BLDC refrigera- tion compressors considering the most criti- cal point such as operating envelop, oil management, temperatures, torque to ensure the best reliability ever with maxi- mum efficiency over 95 per cent.
SD2 drives are adapted for Heat pumps with heating capacity up to 46kW/compres- sor or for refrigeration racks and condensing units used in small stores with a cooling capacity up to 35kW/compressor.
SD2 drives used together with our SANHUA Electronic Expansion Valves pro- vides a stable evaporating temperature and reduces compressors short cycles. A stable control allows higher evaporating tempera- ture and lower condensing pressure, these points are key to save energy and possible with SANHUA’s SD2 and EEVs control.

Keep it simple with condenser brackets
RECTORSEAL AUSTRALIA PTY. Ltd. now stocks AC Condenser Wall Brackets to comple- ment its extensive HVAC product portfolio.
Engineered to provide robust and secure sup- port for ductless condensers, RectorSeal’s AC Wall Brackets are made from heavy-duty steel and have a durable powder-coated finish.
AC Condenser Wall Brackets feature a sliding cross bar that provides an exceptionally wide range to fit a variety of ductless condensing units. AC Wall Brackets are backed by RectorSeal’s industry-leading 3-Year Limited Warranty with no registration required.
Wall brackets are big time savers.
Designed to avoid ductless condensing units from ground contact, AC Condenser Wall Brackets can be installed quickly in six simple steps.
Mounting hardware is included, and a level is provided for additional installation conveni- ence, according to Craig Bicket, general man- ager of RectorSeal Australia.
“Our goal is to provide products and solutions that help HVAC contractors save time while providing a high-quality installation,” he said.
“The installation flexibility and durable per- formance of AC Wall Brackets is a great benefit for all ductless condenser
installations.”
Since 1937, RectorSeal has
offered products that have built a steadily growing and loyal fol- lowing among contractors due to differentiated and proven product performance. Further, the company is often the first to tackle and solve challenges pro- fessional trade contractors face.
