Improve
system efficiency
THE MOST DIRECT and effective way to save energy is to improve the effi- ciency of your systems.
Compared with other heat exchangers of the same purpose, properly designed Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHEs) can provide higher heat transfer efficiency and lower pressure drops.
Sanhua BPHEs work with fluid groups 1 and group 2, including water, ethyl- ene glycol solution, common HCFC, HFC, HC, as well as HFO refrigerants such as R410A, R32, R454B, R290, R134a, R404A, R507, R448A, R449A, R1234yf, R1234ze and R452A.
The designed pressure is up to 50 bar. The company’s full range of stainless steel BPHEs are suitable for many different applications including heat pumps, chillers and boilers.
Sanhua’s BPHEs include many different sizes and models; evaporators, con- densers, de-superheaters, fluid to fluid exchangers and compact exchangers that are easy to install, gasket free, and with a fully hermetic design.
By introducing an asymmetric plate design, Sanhua have reduced the volume of the primary side to increase the evaporating temperature and heat transfer efficiency, while still keeping the pressure drop within an acceptable range.
Sanhua data shows a dT that is on average 1K lower and a pressure drop 25% lower than similar asymmetric design products.

Extreme versatility
THE ADVANCED EMERGENCY Mode function in the VLT AQUA Drive ensures trouble-free operation and maximum efficiency of emergency systems.
Emergency Mode allows pump control to operate in both open and closed loop mode with an emergency hydraulic pressure signal.
This specialised system can store up to 32 variables tailored specifically for emergency scenarios. This can be done with eight pressure or flow setpoints and four program-
ming setups.
This extreme versatility allows an entire system, for example a firefighting system, to be controlled by a single pump. It can adjust the mode and intensity according to the event at hand, whether it be firefighting across dif- ferent zones or sectors throughout multiple floors. Feedback signals can also be monitored and sent via fieldbus.
The "Special installation monitoring" func- tion allows for engine control at regular, pre- defined intervals, keeping your system prepared and ready when needed.
