 Oils guarantee
  protection
BOCKLUB COMPRESSOR OIL for mobile and stationary Bock compressors officially went on sale last month.
The BOCKlub oils are suitable for all BOCK compressors with natural and synthetic refrig- erants and are matched and validated to the BOCK compressors and their complete appli- cation limits.
It is the concern of Bock GmbH to permanent- ly guarantee the economic efficiency and perfor- mance of the compressors regarding constantly increasing performance requirements and the use of new refrigerants.
To achieve this, precisely fitting oils that are regularly tested and validated for new re- quirements and applications are an impor- tant component.
“IT HAS HIGH CHEMICAL
AND THERMAL STABILITY.”
With the new BOCKlub compressor oil series, the BOCK company can guarantee a high level of wear protection and an increase in the efficiency and service life of the compressors.
The BOCKlub compressor oils support the conservation of resources and mini- mise the energy consumption of the refrig- eration systems.
It has excellent viscosity and temperature be- haviour, high chemical and thermal stability and an easy upgrade from previously used oils speak for a simple and sensible change.
The BOCKlub compressor oils, which have been quality-tested in long-term tests, are avail- able now.
High performance screw compressor
BOCKlub oils extend the life of the compressor
BITZER HAS ANNOUNCED its new compact screw compressor CSW85/95 motor version 4 for improved efficiency in water-cooled high-perfor- mance liquid chillers.
The new compressor motor selection allows manufacturers to achieve the latest efficiency re- quirements.
CSW motor version 4 is a combination of the well-known BITZER CSW screw compressor with a special selected motor version 4 and spe- cial oil charge.
This concept has already been successfully implemented for the Chinese market for high re- liability and excellent efficiency at water-cooled chiller conditions.
Due to increasing efficiency requirements and corresponding customer demand, especially from Europe and India, BITZER has now started the manufacture of its CSW for the correspond- ing markets at its Rottenburg-Ergenzingen site.
CSW enables OEM screw chiller manufactur- ers to design and produce water-cooled air con- ditioning chillers that fulfil the highest interna- tional energy efficiency standards like the European Ecodesign 2016/2281 tier 2.
The product range covers nine models with dis- placements between 410 m3/h and 1,120 m3/h at 50 Hz as well as 495 m3/h and 1,351 m3/h at 60 Hz.
Their application envelope was designed for highly efficient water-cooled air conditioning and process chiller applications with maximum condensing temperatures up to 46°C, which is why their technical concept includes various measures to improve the compressor’s efficien- cy: the motor features increased efficiency in the
target application envelope and a reduced maxi- mum operating current.
This gives the possibility to use smaller con- tactors and smaller mains cable diameters, re- sulting in an overall system cost reduction.
CSW was designed for low-pressure medium and low GWP refrigerants like R134a, R1234yf, R513A, R450A, R1234zeE and R515B. Also, the in- ternal gas flow has been optimised and the inter- nal pressure drop further reduced.
“THE CSW ENABLES SEER TO BE IMPROVED BY UP TO EIGHT PER CENT COMPARED TO
A STANDARD COMPRESSOR.”
The CSW motor version 4 enables the chiller’s Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) to be improved by up to eight per cent compared to a standard CSW compressor, at typical motor cooled chiller operating conditions.
The mechanical capacity control with single- slider concept can be adjusted between 100 and 25 per cent. This CSW version is also suitable for operation with an external frequency inverter at a frequency range between 20 and 60 Hz. The variable speed range depends on given operating conditions and input voltage range.
