   SIMPLY BETTER-FOR-YOU
The latest range of potato and corn chips from PepsiCo Australia, Simply, comes with a 4 Star Health Star Rating, as the snacks giant looks to target the better-for-you market.
Created in partnership with Woolworths, the companies wanted to produce a snack without complex ingredients or confusing jargon for consumers to navigate.
Simply Corn Chips have 40 per cent less salt than standard corn chips, and the Simply Potato Chips have 25 per cent less fat.
PepsiCo ANZ head of marketing Vandita Pandey said the goal was to produce a range of snacks that were nutritious and tasted good. The partnership with Woolworths was also a “natural fit”.

FOUR PILLARS + YARRA YERING’S BLOODY SURPRISE
Following the release of the 2022 vintage of its iconic Bloody Shiraz Gin earlier this year, Four Pillars has launched an additional special edition vintage: Four Pillars x Yarra Yering 2022 Bloody Underhill Shiraz Gin.
In partnership with Yarra Yering, Four Pillars says the Bloody Underhill Shiraz Gin features a combination of two of the most well-known shiraz tipples from the Yarra Valley.
Four Pillars says the final result is a drink far removed from their usual Bloody Shiraz Gin; deeper in colour, higher in alcohol, and more intense in sweetness, tannins and an amaro-like bitterness.
The Four Pillars Bloody Underhill Shiraz Gin will be available online
shopping experience, we are proud to bring Simply to Woolworths shoppers as something new and category-leading – a simplified better for you snack offering, with the same quality and taste of their favourite chips,” Pandey said.
Woolworths commercial director of Grocery Food, Ewan Shearer, said it was keen to stock a healthier alternative in the chip category, with the 4 Star rating an added bonus. The new Simply range of potato and corn chips are now available nationally at Woolworths supermarkets and retail for RRP $4.30.
and at the Four Pillars Healesville Distillery and Surry Hills Laboratory for RRP $175.

 A NEW SCHOOL BUDDEE
Australian-owned and operated Buddee has launched in Woolworths, with the goal of putting spreads back in school lunchboxes with its range entirely free from the top ten allergens.
Co-founders Seong-Lee Ang and Rodney Chieng recognised that Australia has one of the largest food allergy rates in the world, leading to strict policies in schools across the nation.
As a parent of two children who struggle with severe food allergies, Ang made it his personal mission to ensure that Buddee provided a safe and inclusive food option for school lunchboxes.
When compared to other conventional spreads, Buddee contains less sugar, less saturated fat and is free from palm oil. Buddee spreads are also vegan-certified and available in three types; Crunchy, Smooth and Chocolate.
Buddee Chocolate and Smooth spreads are available at Woolworths and Coles supermarkets nationwide for RRP $6.50.
