We hold ourselves accountable through the expertise of our Indigenous Advisory Board (IAB), which is now in its twelfth year of operation. The IAB has 12 members and is independent to Ventia. Its core function is to monitor our overall Indigenous Partici- pation Program and our RAP development and implementation, ensuring that we are on track to meet our commitments.

BOTH: Ventia has around 35 years’ experience in remediating contaminated land and water- ways. That experience has been applied to the treatment of PFAS contaminated sites through a world-first technology called SourceZone.
SourceZone offers a permanent and com- plete solution to PFAS soil contamination and, dependent on soil type, it can remove up to 99 per cent of PFAS mass from soil.
Our Action Plans revolve around Relationships/Educa- tion, Respect for Land and Culture, Opportunities/Work- place Inclusion, Accountability/Monitoring and Reporting, Strategic/Thought Leadership and Advocacy.
We were proud to be finalists for the Corporate Member of the Year Award at the 2021 Supply Nation 2021 Supplier Diversity Awards.

SourceZone can remove PFAS from soil at a source site and the bulk of the cleaned soil can be reinstated at the site, eliminating the financially and environmen-
