 JOINT SYSTEMS
Joint Systems’ core business is to acquire, integrate and provide through life support to a range of command and control, communica- tions, satellite, tactical interoperability and electronic warfare systems.

LAND
Land Systems Division (LSD) is responsible for acquiring and support- ing designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) including development, acquisition, fleet management and through-life support of allocated land systems.

MARITIME
The maritime divisions are responsible for all acquisition and sustainment business conducted through CASG’s Maritime Systems, Submarines and Naval Surface Warships, including the Air Warfare Destroyer program.

The Business Management domain assists the Deputy Secretary to
set Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group’s (CASG) strategy and business planning. The Business Management domain supports achievement of the CASG Business Plan outcomes, delivers effective governance frameworks for the Group and prioritises the CASG Group Operating budget, aligned to the CASG Business Plan. The Business Management Domain monitors CASG’s performance in delivering capability outcomes, in accordance with relevant legislation and policy. The Business Management domain delivers services to CASG including policy and processes and specialised services such as commercial advice and disposal services. The Business Management Domain provides a strategic interface for CASG with other Defence Groups, Government departments and defence industry.

DEFENCE ESTATE AND INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP (E&IG)
Defence Estate and Infrastructure Group (E&IG) is the consolidated service delivery organisation for Defence.
E&IG has a budget in excess of $5.5 billion, with around 1,600 civilian and 140 military staff.
E&IG also maintains environmental stewardship of over 3.5
million hectares of land with more than 330 managed properties,
and maintains and operates more than 30,000 buildings. The gross replacement value of the estate is approximately $68 billion (excluding land and Assets Under Construction).
Its responsibilities include supporting the ADF and the Department of Defence through the provision of personnel administration and
