already. 2019 has been a busy one with the usual cyclone of change - even at the Yaffa Media of- fices. After 17 years our advertising manager Max Yaffa has hung up his Paint & Panel cap and will be taking on another role within the company. We welcome our new ad manager Ly- nette Rochford who joins us from
What Tradies Want magazine.
Rochford is passionate about safety, so expect to see OH&S content beefed up in 2020. For the most part, the auto- body repair industry does not take safe- ty seriously enough, especially when it comes to air particulates and protect- ing people from isocyanates.
We will also be launching a series of Podcasts next year to help you with your businesses on a number of topics from weighing up the return on investment from certain pieces of equipment such as wheel alignment or calibration solu- tions, to sharing repairer success stories and, yes, on the subject of employee safety as well.
We received fantastic feedback from our L!VE conference and the 2019 Body- shop Awards night of nights. We always aim higher each year and for 2020 we will look into extending the night and including a dance floor. Congratulations to all our worthy 2019 winners.
As we head into the end of year party and holiday season, we wish you and your families health and happiness next year and we’ll be back to help with the wealth part.
