packaging, wide format and 3D printing.
Roland DG, the show’s Platinum Sponsor, will also have a sizeable footprint, with a display featuring
a host of new products spanning everything from wide-format digital to textile printing, laser engraving
and more.
This will include the high-speed,
super-accurate IU-1000F UV-LED flatbed printer, VersaUV LEC2-330 and LEC2-640 print-and-cut solutions, LV laser engraving machines, and the VersaStudio BT-12 desktop direct-to- garment printer – plus a possible new release, which the company hopes to secure as an Australian-first release.
Almost next door, HP Australia will feature a broad display of innovative technology ranging from high-quality photographic poster printers that, according to the company, are also ‘blazingly fast’, through to the durable HP Latex printer range with both flexible and rigid media printing options. The line-up is expected to include the new HP Latex 700/800 and Latex R series, the latest HP DesignJet Z Series Photo printers, and the HP PageWide XL series.
Mutoh Australia will focus on its multi-award-winning range of UV printers including the high-speed eco-solvent XPJ-1682SR, the hybrid VJ-1638UH for everything from
vinyls and banners to corflute and composite panels, and the VJ-628MP
& VJ-1628MH for printing directly to packaging substrates for prototyping and proofing on cardboard and films. The company says its fast and accurate VC2-1300 vinyl cutter and small-format desktop XPJ-661UF direct-to-object printer will also be featured.
Konica Minolta was still finalising its plans at the time of going to press, but says it expects to focus on product that will help businesses diversify their offerings, and improve productivity and time-to-market. Others still planning their displays include Fujifilm Business Innovation, Starleaton, Spicers Australia, Screen GP and Pozitive Sign & Graphic Supplies, Mimaki Australia, Epson Australia, Kyocera Document Solutions, and Kodak Australia.
Print finishing will feature on the Paper Handling Equipment and Wilenco stands, while laminating, coatings and other finishing and embellishment options will feature on some stands including Hilton Laminating and Allkotes. Ferag Australia is expected to add yet another dimension with its expertise in conveying and processing technologies.
On the consumables and accessories side, Flint Group and Bőttcher will offer much of interest from inks, pressroom chemistry and plates, to rollers, printing blankets and sleeves.
