Labels & Packaging
Labels and packaging is an exciting and perennially robust sector of the industry, and there will be plenty of solutions on show for those involved in this area. Rodden Graphics will demonstrate its expertise across flexo packaging and label presses, digital and hybrid converting technologies, slitting, rewinding and finishing solutions, while GMS Pacific is set
to select from its flexo, letterpress, plate processing and quality control solutions.
Sign & Display
Sign and display businesses as well
as interior designers and fitout specialists will find a great deal of interesting solutions at PacPrint. In addition to print solutions, a range
of cutting, marking, engraving and routing technologies, display systems, illumination options, and a huge range of media and textiles will be on show.
Alfex Laser will demonstrate the value a laser can add to businesses
– such as the ability to quickly and efficiently cut dimensional letters and 3D signage, create image cut- outs, engrave ADA signage with logos or text, or cut POP displays.
This huge versatility across materials from acrylic and
plastics, to wood, metal and more, will be illustrated during live demonstrations of the Epilog Fusion Pro and Fusion Edge series, Kern’s EcoFlex and LaserCell, and Vision Engraving and Routing Systems’ 1624R CNC engraver/router.

Multicam, Trotec and Aeronaut Automation are other exhibitors sure to be a highlight in this space, as is Sign to Badge Solutions with its focus on engraving and marking for the signage, award and recognition industries.
Software will also be a feature on many stands, with Quote & Print just one company planning to demonstrate a variety of solutions including its new Cloud Print ERP software, a module for Label & Carton Packaging, and
a range of other solutions covering everything from large format, to sheetfed and digital print.
Cerm, Esko Graphics and Soltect will also have software solutions on show, and Colour Graphic Solutions will showcase its range of colour management solutions.
Media is, of course, an integral part of any job, and PacPrint will provide visitors with plenty of ideas and options on everything from papers and boards, to label stocks, synthetics, rigid media and textiles.
Hexis will feature more than 15 new colours in its Skintac vehicle wrap series, paint protection films like the Bodyfence PPF range, and tinted vehicle solar protection including Skyfall and Majestik which feature thermal, anti-uv and anti-scratch protection, as well as the latest time- and labour-saving polymeric The200Evo kit.
Adhesive films for design and decoration will also feature, with new additions to the Hex’perience decoration range including textured laminates self-adhesive films and high-stretch, extra-thin Cutflex films for textile markings.
Hands-on heat-pressing and weeding sessions, plus daily rounds of
the popular Hexis Wrap Battle, where wrappers and installers will battle for a share of over $10,000 in prizes, are also sure to be Hexis highlights.
The Drytac range will take centre- stage on the Shann stand, with a number of eco-friendly options which are PVC-free and made using recycled, or recyclable, product.
This will include a wide range of finishes in the Retac wall graphics range, Visiprint window films – including deco SR scratch-resistant optically clear, and illuminate for front or back-lit displays – as well
as writeable films including Retac Chalkmate and wipe-erase, floor graphics and spot on dot adhesive films. Textiles for wall coverings and banner applications will also feature.
Speaking of textiles, Euro Poles is sure to once again bring an impactful showcase of indoor and outdoor displays, display systems and foam furniture, while heat transfer experts Velfex Imports, Sublimation Systems, and BPG Australia are expected to showcase sublimation and other related systems. Elizabeth Machines will complement the textile and textile printing solutions with its expertise in industrial sewing and finishing.

Plenty to see 28 Sept – 1 Oct in Melbourne: PacPrint
A diverse showcase is expected from Stick On Signs which offers everything from shop, corporate
and vehicle signs, to banners and wall graphics. Those in illuminated signage will find plenty of interest on long-time Visual Impact exhibitor Saled’s stand, with neon, LED, strip lighting, accessories and more.
A range of other useful services and solutions will also be accessible at the show, from Minipack shrink- wrapping, to the purchase – and free removal in every capital city – of second-hand photocopiers, plotters and large-scale printers from ABC Copier Solutions.
We’ll hear more, of course, as plans evolve and product lands on shore, but what is already clear is that exhibitors are pushing ahead and very much looking forward to the opportunity of meeting face-to-face in Melbourne.
