Hilton Laminating says its goal is to provide innovative laminating systems to the Australian market to promote in-house capabilities for printers.
Hilton encourages
in-house laminating
Hilton Laminating says not having to outsource laminating work gives printers full control over the finishing
process, reducing the overall costs and time taken to complete client work, hence its focus on providing print businesses with their own lamination systems.
Hilton supplies the GMB laminating system. Measuring
4.6 metres in length, this is a fully automatic laminating system. Hilton says its characteristics include ease of use, pallet to pallet system, a technologically advanced heating system, and ability to run at 60 metres per minute.
Hilton also supplies D&K Europe. Hilton says the Europa Flying Knife is causing a buzz, with its ability
to cut through any laminate and
its available options making it a laminator of choice for the packaging and print market, for both digital and offset printing.
The company also has the Neptune
Below
laminating system, a compact, high performance laminating system designed for in-house use, allowing the printer to have full control of their finishing needs. The Neptune comes with a foil rewinder for high speed, automatic foiling runs.
Both the Europa and Neptune systems have been on the market for some time, however both machines can be customised with additional features. Being able to opt for features aligned with specific needs will ensure workflow optimisation.
Hilton is also supplying the Starglazers laminator, which is available in four varying sizes, again with additional features. Particularly popular are the manual Starglazers with the foiling uptake rollers, which Hilton says are simple to use, and create short run foiling work.
In addition to its laminators, Hilton has sought-after laminating films for a wide range of applications including Velvet Touch, Anti-scuff and its full range of metallic foils and holographics. 21
