PROFILE | PKN 60 YEARS SPECIAL
     Result Group
We at Result innovate, we disrupt, we value our team, and we will never accept it can’t be done bet- ter. With an established base of customers from blue chip brands to small busi- ness, every customer is important and can access the same level of service no matter what the spend.
With a team with more than 150 years experi- ence in product identification technology (label- ling, sleeving, coding and marking), value added packaging (reclose, overlabelling and on-pack promotions), self-adhesive materials with unique adhesive technology and process auto- mation with software control, vision and x-ray inspection, delivering results is in our DNA. All backed up with a service team offering direct technician contact 24/7, 365 days a year and finance for lease and MaaS packages.
Result commenced operations almost 12 years ago. Initially, we concentrated on proj- ects with major consumer goods manufactur- ers to deliver consumer promotions. We built process control software and used printing and labelling equipment whilst managing the risk and technical production.
Great people and investment in technology and innovation are the driving forces for the success of Result’s strategy.”
Having worked with nearly all the major sup- pliers of coding and labelling systems in the past, Result felt the technology available didn’t offer all that was needed. So we went and found our own point of difference technology and have become a key player. Technology to deliver packaging projects characterised by the best quality to price ratio, serviced and supported like no other.
Great people and investment in technology and innovation are the driving forces for the
success of Result’s strategy. These invest- ments enable Result to market an increasingly different and innovative range of labelling machines, coding and marking, as well as print and apply systems, reseal and reclose solutions and self-adhesive materials featuring such high technological content, in many cases, they have become landmarks in their sector. If there is no point of difference it’s not in our range – it has to be game changing – it’s that simple.
In recent years, Result has turned its focus to the gap between sustainability and food waste and using technology to deliver on those key drivers. Our range of laser systems enable branding of fresh produce, eliminating the use of labels whilst our range of linerless label applicators deliver environmental benefits in the removal of release liner. 2021 will see this range extended further.
Result’s 100 per cent PET kerbside recy- clable, re-sealable Grape n’ Go pack design for fresh grapes won a PIDA award as well as the food and beverage award for packaging innovation in the food sector.
Result Group is also representing the pack- aging industry across various working groups including the AIP Save Food Packaging Consortium for the Fight Food Waste CRC, as well as being the AIP representative on the National GS1 Traceability Advisory Group and APCO’s Materials Circularity Working Group.
Result will continue to position itself to lead the smart packaging revolution in Australia with the launch of a number of digital technologies enabling cross-industry solutions including brand authentication, counterfeiting, track and trace monitoring and consumer engaging content. The world is changing, we will continue to adapt. We are prepared for the future, staying ahead of the game and we are pretty excited about it!
