The next step in the spouted pouch
A new generation of Cheerpack spouted pouch filling lines is on the market here in Australia, ready to bring new capabilities to Australian and New Zealand brands.
METALPRINT Australia and Gualapack are now offer- ing three new lines that extend the capability of the Cheerpack spouted pouch. For brands and man- ufacturers where through- put and line efficiency are
paramount, the new CHP-8H filling line offers a huge 250-pieces-a-minute output without sacrificing any of the benefits of premade pouches. All this comes with a compact footprint and less than one operator.
“The ability for rapid format and size changes keeps operational effi- ciency high every shift while still giving marketing and sales the flex- ibility to compete in today’s challeng- ing FMCG environment,” says Bernard Waterson, MD of Metalprint. “The line can even accommodate up to four flavours simultaneously, mak- ing multipacks an easy option.”
Specific configurations for dairy lines, as well as hot fill or multiuse operations, are available.
The CHP-2H pouch filler is the leading premade pouch filler model in the world, according to Metalprint, offering a reliable output of 5000 pieces an hour, in a cost effective, compact footprint.
This capability has now been extended to include large corner spouted pouches in addition to cen- tre-spouted pouches. Using a Cheerpack filler over conventional corner spouted machine increases throughput and reduces the amount of plastic required.
“A key facet of the success of Cheerpack spouted pouches has been
The ability for rapid format and size changes keeps operational efficiency high every shift while still giving marketing and sales the flexibility to compete.”
