HALLY Labels will be showcasing its latest eco-friendly labelling solutions at Stand E36 including Linerless Wraps in action on a Ravenwood Packaging Nobac 5000 applicator, HERMA InNo-Liner demonstrations, and Hally Labels’ portfolio of sustainable materials.
The Linerless Wraps are a component of the labelling system developed by UK-based Ravenwood Packaging. This Ravenwood
solution has revolutionised the UK sleeve and C-wrap labelling market by delivering improved productivity as well as environmental benefits.
There has also been a significant uptake in the Australian market of this format, which is ideally suited for the product labelling of protein, ready meals, salads, produce, bakery, soups, and sauces. It is suitable for decoration of
a wide variety of packaging formats including difficult-to-label vacuum skin packaging.
The company will also be demonstrating HERMA InNo-Liner, a new-to-market linerless labelling print and apply system. InNo-Liner can auto-apply labels to shipping cartons of different sizes, in any sequence and with variable label lengths. It is ideal for logistics and shipping applications. This eco-friendly system requires no label liner, normally a by-product of labelling for which there is a limited ability for recycling.
Also on show will be Hally Labels’ comprehensive portfolio of environmentally sustainable label materials. The range includes labels made from recycled and renewable content, plus compostable, biodegradable, photodegradable and chain of custody certified options. New additions to the portfolio include a 99 per cent recycled content semi-gloss paper, a compostable direct thermal paper, and a polypropylene film made entirely from trees.
