 Green Star makeover
A DYNAMIC NEW brand has been revealed for the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and Green Star.
GBCA CEO, Davina Rooney, said the new brands pay homage to the organisation’s leader- ship over the last 18 years but takes on a more contemporary look to support its vision to build a more sustainable future.
“We are proud to reveal the new branding that will support all our activities, and meet the needs of our members to showcase their achieve- ments,” Davina said.
“Despite the challenging times we find our-
selves in, the commitment to realise a more sus- tainable future is stronger than ever. This year we will release the first of our revamped Green Star tools under our Future Focus program and later this month we will release our draft stand- ard for Green Star Homes.
“With the continuing world leadership demonstrated by our members, and our own evolution to meet their ambition, we are
pleased that our new logos reflect the signifi- cant step change that Green Star, and GBCA are undergoing.
“We’ve developed bold, distinctive logos that communicate our brands, stay true to our roots, while adding a more contemporary tone.”
Rooney said both the corporate and Green Star logos will be adopted in projects, cities and com- munities around Australia in coming months.
