Top sealing integrity with Inspira snack bagmaker
THE Ishida Inspira Series vertical form fill seal (VFFS) bagmaker, available through Heat and Control, offers optimal accuracy, sealing integrity, ease of use and productivity to snack food manufacturers.
Featuring motor drive technology that improves positional jaw control at the point of sealing, the Inspira delivers consistent forming/sealing performance at speeds of up to 200 bags per minute. Operators have access to all important parts and changeovers are quick and easy.
The Inspira features a new splice table light bar for easier and faster film splicing, simpler film feed with fewer rollers, and error-free forming tube insertion and removal – making changing a forming tube particularly simple.
The bagmaker can be used for block bottom, gusseted, hem seal and pillow bags, and is suitable for all snack food filling applications.

Wyzo: first pick-and-place sidebot for collaborative automation
NEW high-speed pick-and-place sidebot Wyzo is now available, programmed to work safely side-by-side with humans without protective barriers or performance compromises.
The “world first” compact and agile sidebot, which provides a new approach to collaborative production, is designed to fit anywhere on the production floor. At less than 0.5m2 and just 1.80 meters in height, it can easily be moved from one workstation to another, eliminating bottlenecks and enabling fast ROI.
Wyzo is the brainchild of Demaurex SA, pioneer of the Delta robot, and is represented locally by Radial Design.
The sidebot can find and pick products at 80 cycles per minute, with a payload of half a kilogram. Through its advanced sensor technology, Wyzo constantly monitors its surroundings for the presence of human activity.

A simPAL palletising solution
AUSTRALIS Engineering has released simPAL, a robotic palletising system to assist Australian manufacturers that are struggling to meet demands with existing palletising set-ups in the Covid-19 environment.
The robotic system is modular with hardware and Australis’ proprie- tary software, which can be configured to tailor for different palletising requirements. The Australian designed, manufactured, programmed, and supported system is flexibly designed to adapt as any business grows.
SimPAL provides single and double palletising, along with pallet stacking and pallet wrapping. The system also has pallet infeed or outfeed conveyors and a slip sheeter, while being simple to program own pallet patterns or product changes.
