 SYPAQ ACQUIRES BELLINGER SYSTEMS
SYPAQ Systems has acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Bellinger Systems.
Bellinger, founded in 1967, provides de- sign, manufacture and through life support for a significant scope of electrical, electron- ic and communications equipment operated by Defence. Customers include all three branches of the ADF with a particular focus on naval capability. Projects have included tactical data links (L11/16/22), surveillance receivers and recorders, communications equipment, radar, navigation & GPS, sonar, power supplies, control systems and more.
“Bellinger’s technical capability compli- ments SYPAQ’s existing C4ISREW and De- fence mission systems portfolio, enabling us to deliver end to end integrated com- munications solutions to our defence and industry partners,” SYPAQ’s CEO Amanda Holt said. “This further reinforces our lead- ership in the areas of tactical data links and maritime systems, including design, engi- neering, installation, integration, support, maintenance, repair and overhaul.”

   RAYTHEON announced the successful com- pletion of the all-stock ‘merger of equals’ transaction between itself and United Technologies Corporation on April 3.
The announcement followed the com- pletion by United Technologies of its pre- viously announced spin-offs of its Carrier and Otis businesses.
Upon closing of the merger, United Technologies’ name has changed to Ray- theon Technologies Corporation.
Raytheon Technologies expects to in- troduce technologies in the areas of hy- personics, directed energy, avionics and cybersecurity.

Holt also paid tribute to Bellinger’s for- mer owner Jim Hardie who stepped in to support the business in 2019.

Bellinger will retain its current brand- ing, forming a wholly owned subsidiary of SYPAQ, and will continue to operate from its headquarters in Western Sydney.
