                   Compressors, Condensers & Evaporators
  Access to digital services
THE BITZER DIGITAL Network (BDN) which provides users with access to valuable digital services relating to compressors is now available to provide a range of key product and applica- tion-specific information.
The network is an important contribution to the development of the Internet of things in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
It provides online monitoring, compressor op- erating reports and immediate help with trou- bleshooting. The basis for this is the cloud pro- vided by BITZER as well as the know-how and IQ products of the specialist for refrigeration and air conditioning technology.
“COMPRESSOR REPORTS PROVIDE USERS WITH ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS IN REAL-TIME.”
Together with targeted data analysis, this combination creates a solution that is new to the market and makes it easier for BITZER partners to set up and expand their own digital service in- frastructure. Partners benefit from simple con- nection to their refrigeration systems, enabling remote access and troubleshooting in real time.
In the BDN, users can observe the compo- nents of their refrigeration systems from a bird’s-eye view and prepare detailed analyses, with everything included, from an electronic spare parts database and online documentation to selection software, compressor monitoring and advanced analysis.
The network makes it possible to register all
BITZER products and obtain access to relevant technical information, certificates and approv- als. The BDN also provides the possibility to up- load application-specific documents and to manage and track related service activities.
A cloud connection option is also available for BITZER IQ products, enabling storage and de- tailed analysis of compressor operation data in an outstanding resolution. The compressor opera- tion report provides users with actionable in- sights that can be used to improve all aspects of system performance and remote troubleshooting.
If any anomalies are identified, the designated person immediately receives a message. As a re- sult, unnecessary service trips can be avoided and unplanned periods of refrigeration system shut-off reduced or entirely prevented.
The myBITZER portal provides individual us- ers and companies with access to the BDN,

where they can register and manage their com- ponents or entire systems and sites with just a few clicks on any end device.
BITZER products can also be registered and opened in the BDN via the BITZER SPOT app or any QR code readers. Depending on requirements, multilevel permissions for registered products can be managed by us- ers themselves.
For cloud connections, BITZER provides a ful- ly preconfigured gateway that enables immedi- ate connection and use for partners.

          Fifty years of innovation
   ABOVE: Embraco compressor.
NIDEC GLOBAL APPLIANCE has celebrated the 50th anniversary of one of its most inno- vative brands Embraco, a name well known
to the refrigeration industry.
After half a century the brand is about to em-
bark on a refresh. Anchored in the concept that “refresh” means “renovate” and to bring new ide- as into life, the campaign highlights Embraco’s innovative approach to refrigeration.
After being acquired by Nidec Corporation in July 2019, Embraco has been organised into three business units – home appliances, com- mercial division and HVAC.
The aim is to give Embraco a more dedicated focus on specific markets and to strengthen its portfolio of compressors and condensing units.
Embraco began in Brazil in 1971 and pioneered compressors using natural refrigerants in 1994.
The company has built fac- tories in China, Mexico and eastern Europe.
Today Embraco is present in more than 80 countries with a brand stamped on one in every five hermetic com- pressors across the globe.
