the SX 102, with 92 option, are fully integrated into the digital workspace through the Heidelberg cloud.
Job settings and colour data can be easily stored on the presses for repeat jobs, or in the production manager servers, for fast handling in the pressroom.
The Speedmaster Operating System (UX) with intuitive touch control turns the convenient control of the new Speedmaster into an experience. Settings can be called up with a click, and the scalable operation can be flexibly adjusted, in accordance with the requirement profile.
Intuitive operator guidance, innovative gesture control, and
integrated help functions eliminate lengthy searches. According to Heidelberg the Speedmaster Operating System delivers “fast, simple and navigated use of all your machine’s functionalities”.
Heidelberg says intelligent self learning assistants offer users the shortest washing programmes and makeready cycles. Full production reports from the Prinect Production Manager gives real time insight into your own performance KPIs, such as makeready time, production speed and waste, to calculate OEE and potential bottlenecks. This can be complemented with data analytics and performance benchmarking by Heidelberg.
Importantly all the new presses are connected to the 24-hour response system, with online support and predictive monitoring, to ensure that downtimes are kept to a minimum.
With Remote Diagnosis, printers get online assistance directly on their machine in case of a problem. Once the remote connection is established via the internet, an expert Heidelberg SystemService technician troubleshoots the Heidelberg equipment, provides a diagnosis, and makes recommendations for the repair. On many occasions Heidelberg is even able to rectify the fault remotely. It says some
of its customers have estimated savings of thousands of dollars on a single call.
