USI ITALIA created the training centre at Axalta’s new Sydney headquarters. Head of training Paul Polverino said: “We were impressed by the overall effi- ciency and energy savings that the USI booth could deliver.
“Each booth is fitted with a heat ex- changer, that allows the cold incoming air to be ‘pre-heated’ at no cost or energy use. This is done by heating the ex- changers with exhausted hot air from previous spraying and bake cycles.
Due to the set up implemented, the booth heat up times are very quick,” he said.
