| CONFERENCES | CONNECT 2023
Empower, evolve, excite
Connect 2023, the world’s biggest print and packaging industry software conference, hosted for the first time by eProductivity Software, welcomed printers, suppliers and trade media from around the world, writes Print21 editor Wayne Robinson from the event in Las Vegas.
Under the theme of ‘Empower, Evolve, Excite’, Connect 2023 drew print and packaging producers to
Las Vegas for four days of software focus, software that eProductivity Software (ePS) says is developing rapidly, and which it says will make a major difference to the efficienci of all kinds of print businesses.
It was the first time the conference was entirely software focused, with ePS spun out of EFI as a stand-alone business 15 months ago.
So for the first time there were no printing units at the location, the Wynn, a hotel that is the size of many Australian regional towns, but rather for the first time there were a wide range of print solution developers on the floor, including the likes of HP, Ricoh, Agfa Offset,
Canon, EFI, ISCorp, Esko, EFI Fiery, Hybrid Software, OneVision, as well as Picsart, Progress, Loyalty Loop, PlanProphet, Print Speak, and Van Data. While EFI software has always engaged with third parties, it was
at Connect 2023 as eProductivity Software, that the engagement could be on full display. The organiser says the sponsor lineup “speaks volumes to the nature of this event and the robust partnerships” cultivated
by ePS in the packaging and print ecosystem.
Major trade associations were also taking part, including Flexible Packaging Association, Tag and Labels Manufacturers, and Printing United Alliance. In addition
UN Global Impact also gave a presentation.

Gabriel (Gaby) Matsliach, CEO of ePS commented, “We are incredibly excited to see our vision for ePS Connect become a reality. We
know that the educational sessions, keynote addresses, and more will deliver a high amount of value for our users. But, it’s the connections made, conversations held, and relationships built between ePS customers that elevates the benefit of attending Connect. We expect this to be even more acute this year with a laser focus on the software
