of fibre-based packaging. Buildin
the educational messaging of fibr coming from a renewable substrate.
3Love Paper (NEW) – a consumer campaign, leveraging from
VoPP and Two Sides, to build
succinct messaging across schools, communities and brands about
the effectiveness, environmental credentials, learning and comprehension benefits, and socia inclusivity, for all Australians putting paper and print into the everyday lives of Aussies. Also strengthening the difference across society of digital literacy and digital ability. Paper and print literacy is proven, digital literacy across our most vulnerable citizens
is not. A key finding in our consume research supports the strength of print in a modern digital era.
4Keep Me Posted – a less active campaign since the successful Treasury Consultation achievement, however PVCA continues to monitor and have the campaign available to ramp up as needed.
Keep Me Posted is a campaign lobbying for the right to choose how we receive bills and statements, whilst also monitoring digital scams and the digital
divide across Australia, ensuring government and corporations continue to understand the criticality of print communications, across finance, health, and gove nment information, among others.

FULL SUITE HR/IR SERVICE
PVCA is operating a hybrid solution for members across all areas of IR/ HR services. It has now officially appointed Charles Watson as general manager – IR, Policy & Governance.
Watson brings 17 years’ experience across IR/HR legal advisory services
– of which 13 are specifically across the nine awards our industry operates within – to provide a senior leadership expertise level for mediation, FWC representation, legislative advisory, governance, and policy management, to protect the industry position across apprentice priority list, national skills council, training and module approval.
The Help Desk, available through the 1800 hotline for immediate HR queries, is supported by an online HR/ IR document library, with templated
resources specific to the industry awards across our membership.
PVCA says this hybrid model provides members an ‘all-access’ opportunity to reach the information they need when they need it, a
Help Desk with 24hr access, and
a specialist service to escalate to
if necessary. The association says this is ensuring members are fully supported, and reassured that the industry body is also overseeing
and influencing policy changes that impact its skills and training needs.
