                  Zuru makes commitment to environment
ZURU has rolled-out new eco- friendly initiatives for its Bunch
O Balloons brand. The business is now using 100% fully-certified and traceable post-consumer-recycled plastic to produce the Bunch O Balloons' caps and stems. The new initiative complements the business' partnership with TerraCycle, which allows consumers to recycle all packaging and product waste from the water balloons. Zuru co-founder and COO Anna Mowbray said
that the business was thrilled to make Bunch O Balloons more eco- friendly. "COVID-19 has enhanced the amount of quality time parents spend with their children, and now more than ever families are seeking excitement and magic in their lives. It’s so exciting for us to offer a product that can offer families
this without the previously- associated environmental guilt,"
she said. The new recycled stems and caps are estimated to prevent
an estimated 800 tons of single-use plastic from entering the supply chain each year. ❉
