                    Sustainable business champions join forces
THE SWEDISH AUSTRALIAN Chamber of Commerce (SACC) has launched its sustainability committee to advocate for corporate Australia to champion best practice in sustainability and take an active stance on the transition to a net zero economy.
The SACC sustainability committee was officially launched at an event hosted by the Embassy of Sweden in Canberra last month officiated by His Excellency, Henrik Cederin, Ambassador of Sweden to Australia.
The SACC sustainability committee consists of 14 global companies with long standing presence in Australia, recognised within their respec- tive industries as being at the forefront of sustainability.
These companies include ABB, Alfa Laval, AstraZeneca, Getinge, H&M, IKEA Australia, Sandvik, Serneke, Tetra Pak, Volvo Group Australia, BCSD Australia, Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and the Swedish
Australian Chamber of Commerce.

Reorganisation after acquisition spree
  GLOBAL CALIBRATION SERVICES company, Tres- cal, has regrouped after five acquisitions.
The acquisitions include Australasian Calibrating Ser- vices, Celemetrix, iPAC Solu- tions, Mobile Test-n-Cal, and the calibration arm of Sudel Industries.
Trescal has laboratories in Australia and New Zealand.
Together, the companies represent 175 experts with laboratories located in Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
They will all fall under the Trescal umbrella. Trescal provides precision calibration expertise in every industry, geography and instrument across the world.
From a single point of contact, Trescal can meet any client need either locally or by sending it to another laboratory within the Trescal network to meet rapid turnaround time.
In Australia and New Zealand, Trescal has particular expertise in elec- trical, force and field calibration as well as high voltage testing. ✺
