Cooling racks for small retail stores
ADVANSOR CAN PROVIDE immediate de- livery of their sustainable cooling racks to small food retail stores dealing with global supply chain challenges.
Delivery time for a cooling rack can be long and often includes an extensive quotation pro- cess. However, Advansor has decided to skip the traditional quote process and make it easier to choose a cooling rack by simply providing a price list with specifications and item numbers. The price list also includes gas coolers and options like heat recovery to cover most needs.
Advansor CEO Kristian Breitenbauch said the company has sold more than 12,000 racks and know what works.
“We are confident that our range of stock models will suit the needs of customers,” he said. “Besides, it ensures that our customers get the same high quality solution every time.
Everything is pre-programmed, fully factory tested and more-or-less plug and play, and during Covid-19 our delivery reliability has been 99 per cent.”
The MiniBooster racks are especially suited to small convenience and discount stores, although they can be used for a wide range of applications.
It delivers up to 45 kW cooling capacity and only takes up the same floor space as a euro pal- let. It is designed to fit in with its ultra-compact size and can be placed in a corner or used out- door with a kit for IP54.
The MiniBooster can be ordered with heat re- covery so the excess heat from the cooling pro- cess can be used for hot tap water or space heat- ing. This will save energy and eliminate the need for a boiler based on fossil fuels like oil or gas.
The MiniBooster uses CO2 as a refrigerant like all other Advansor racks.

CO2 is a natural refrigerant and thereby doesn’t affect the climate or the environment. It is our strong focus to develop energy efficient systems that provide the lowest possible energy consumption,” Breitenbauch said.
“Besides the obvious positive effects to energy efficiency and energy consumption, CO2 is non- toxic, non-flammable, does not harm the drink- ing water and does not affect the ozone layer.”
