ing from strength to strength, with its innovative product design, advanced manufacturing and research capabilities continuing to be recognised by military forces in Australia and internationally.

The Canberra region de- fence industry is strongly positioned to both support and benefit from the planned $200 billion investment. A strategic and coordinated approach to growing and sustaining the Canberra region defence industry has the poten- tial to substantially increase direct De- fence expenditure in the region.
It is estimated that for every $1 billion spent on Defence operations in the Can- berra Region, GSP will grow by around $1.4 billion and the addition of around 8,000 jobs.
