PARTNERS IN WELLNESS GROUP Incorporated (PIWG) was created
as a social enterprise venture for the Balanced Living and Community
Keepers Society (B.L.A.C.K.S.).
We do this by providing a democratic funding platform for the
empowerment of Black entrepreneurship in a range of career fields
such as Business, Education, Health, Manufacturing and the Arts. Our
core VISION is to establish a sustainable system for optimum health
and economic empowerment for our community members.
We are rebuilding our future, where our BLACK Dollars will circulate
within our communities for as long as it can.
PIWG BUSINESS DIRECTORY
Current statistics indicate that people of Afrakan descent are the
world’s largest consumers. To stimulate change and grow our
communities, members are requested to spend their dollars within
their community, forging the change that will create prosperity for
ourselves and future generations.
PIWG’S Business Directory provides an indispensable resource,
cataloguing the list of businesses, services and other activities in ALL
SECTORS available within our community. The goal of the Directory
is to provide a platform for its members to increase business contacts
and sales.
Members are encouraged to exhaust their purchasing power to
support these businesses before looking outside the community.
Members do feel the empowerment that their individual decision is
helping to build a strong, unbreakable chain of collective success. The
directory will expediently expand your Company’s profile and further
support the economic activities for people of Afrakan descent both
locally and around the globe.
PIWG ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
The administrative team is a dynamic group of dedicated, community
leaders who have willingly and unhesitatingly sacrificed their time and

have demonstrated an ongoing ability to manage and merge competing
priorities, delivering services, products and programs and establishing
plans to take this organization and make it a testament to our greatness
and victory as a people.
PIWG CORE VALUES
Financial Wellness
The key areas of financial wellness are to budget, reduce debt, maintain
savings and secure protection. It is crucial for members of PIWG to get out
of debt, stay out of debt, start a business, develop investments and achieve
financial flexibility. We aim to provide members with the financial freedom
to live their best lives, while accessing key professionals and strategies to
manage their economic future
Physical Wellness
The key aspects of physical wellness are to have a sense of balance in
the dimensions of family, work, leisure and meditation. At PIWG, we want
all members to live long, healthy, fulfilling and vibrant lives. The key is
for members of PIWG to have the ability to make choices and engage in
activities that enable them to live their best lives in mind, body and spirit.
Community Wellness
PARTNERS IN WELLNESS GROUP has three (3) major goals to implement
during 2018-2019. Each project will significantly enhance the community
• An Elderly Care Home for families of Afrakan descent
• A Black owned and managed Credit Union
• An Afrakan-Canadian Business Development Center for people
of the diaspora
These initiatives are essential in our overall aim to transfer personal,
physical and financial wealth to our present and future generations.
We are very conscious of our members busy schedules. We therefore
encourage you to set aside some time to maintain your social, emotional,
intellectual wellness and well-being while contributing to the collective. It
is important for members to attend meetings, stay informed and contribute
to the growth of the Organization as we build our legacy for the future.
