FORFAR CURLING CENTRE CLUB: MEMBERS HANDBOOK                                           SEASON 2018/19


            Substitutes can only play for one team.

            Games should start and be played to the bell

            Games should start on time and can be played with three players throughout or until the fourth player
            arrives.

            The maximum penalty shots with be three shots with one penalty shot for every five minutes a player
            or players are missing up to 15 minutes.

            Games can only be postponed for the following reasons:

                1.  For sever weather conditions or exceptional circumstances. Every effort must be made to field a
                    rink on the allocated date & time.
                2.  If the normal members of the team are engaged in further stages of a Scottish Curling
                    competition from which they have qualified from Forfar.



            FCCC LADIES FRIENDSHIP LEAGUE


            All players must be a member of the Curling Club they are representing and can only play for one club.

            FCCC NOVICE LEAGUE


            This competition requires each club entering to play in the spirit of how it is intended to be played. The
            aim is to encourage, support and develop novice players from clubs. Through playing in an interclub
            competition it is intended to aid the novice player and the club’s development.
            FCCC Guidelines are for teams to consist of 2 experienced players plus 2 beginner/novice players.
            Playing in alternative positions to ensure one experienced player is at either end to offer guidance and
            support when required. As an example, and for guidance: -
