FORFAR CURLING CENTRE CLUB: MEMBERS HANDBOOK                                            SEASON 2018/19


           If a club arrives with 7 players games will start immediately, with the offending rink losing one shot for
           every five minutes until the player arrives, up to maximum of three shots.

           If a club arrives with only 6 players, both rinks will play with three players with deductions as above.

           At the end of the game if there is a tie on aggregate shots, ends will count. If there is a tie on shots and
           ends, one nominated player from each side will draw the shot on the rink of his/her choice to decide the
           winner. Except in the final, when in the event of a draw on shots and ends, an extra end will be played by
           one nominated team from each club, the choice of sheet to be determined by the skip who wins the toss
           of the coin.

           Games can only be postponed for the following reasons:

              1.  For severe weather conditions or exceptional circumstances. Every effort must be made to field a
                  rink on the allocated date & time.
              2.  If the normal members of the team are engaged in further stages of a Scottish Curling competition
                  from which they have qualified from Forfar.


           FCCC RINKS KNOCKOUT


           All games must be played on the allocated dates.


           Games should start and be played to the bell
           Games should start on time and can be played with three players throughout or until the fourth player
           arrives.

           The maximum penalty shots with be three shots with one penalty shot for every five minutes a player or
           players are missing up to 15 minutes.

           If a club arrives with only 6 players, both rinks will play with three players with deductions as above.

           During the knockout stages before the final, if a game is level on shots, ends will count. If the score and
           ends are equal the skips will draw the shot to decide the winner. The final will be 8 ends with only the
           score counting. If the score is level and extra end/s will be played to determine the winner.

           FCCC LADIES EVENING LEAGUE


           All players must be a member of the Curling Club they are representing.
