For the first time since 1993, the sole legal
secretary of Barry Rothman steps forward with
new information about the 1993 child
molestation case against Michael Jackson and
notes the striking resemblance between the 1993
case and the recent allegations. Barry Rothman
was, of course, the attorney of Dr. Evan
Chandler, the father of the then 13-year old boy
whom Mr. Jackson allegedly molested.
In order for justice to be served, all the
facts have to be presented. Ms. Hughes' reason
for writing this book is to let the world
know that the entire ordeal was an elaborate
plot to extort money from Mr. Jackson. There
are facts concerning this case that never came
to the public's attention-facts that will cast a
shadow of doubt over the allegations.
Why did the small cry of a child make us
forget the Michael Jackson we have known for
three decades? His only acts toward
children prior to the allegations were to love,
care for and nurture them. How did we forget
that, instead of wasting his millions on alcohol
and drugs, he has spent his millions to save
the lives of children across the world?
For all of the millions that Michael Jackson
gave, for all of the love that he has shared, for
being a peacemaker.... God gave Michael
