London Bridge Hospital’s onsite Urgent Care Centre provides rapid access to diagnostics and treatment of a wide variety of medical problems, with the exception of life-threatening conditions. Common conditions we treat include:
• Chest infections and respiratory conditions
• Stomach problems
• Urinary infections
• Bladder and kidney problems
• Flu symptoms
• Minor burns, wounds and injuries • Sports injuries
• Broken bones
For any life-threatening conditions patients should always call 999, or visit their nearest emergency department.
When visiting our Urgent Care Centre, your patient will be seen immediately by a triage nurse and then passed to one of our urgent care GPs. At our centre, patients can access rapid diagnostics and treatment, fast referrals to consultants and urgent hospital admissions.
Point-of-care testing (POCT) ensures most routine blood test results are available within 30 minutes, including: full blood count, renal and liver function, CRP, D-dimer and troponin tests.
