Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Services

Monday to Thursday: 7.30am-7.30pm Friday: 8.00am-5.30pm

We have a state-of-the-art gym and the latest rehabilitation equipment, including a Pilates reformer, antigravity treadmill and specialist strength and conditioning equipment.
The outpatient therapies service is based at HCA UK at The Shard, and the inpatient therapies service is based at London Bridge Hospital and HCA UK Private Care at Guy’s. All services will include a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
Services include:
• Outpatient physiotherapy treatment for
all musculoskeletal conditions; including treatment of back, neck and joint pain, post orthopaedic surgery, muscular strains, work- related conditions and sports injuries
• Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
• Hand therapy
• Inpatient physiotherapy and occupational therapy services for orthopaedic, neuro- rehabilitation, cardiorespiratory and oncology patients
• Neuro-rehabilitation
• Outpatient occupational therapy
• Outpatient oncology and breast care physiotherapy
• Phototherapy (UVB TL-01) for patients with skin conditions
• Vestibular rehabilitation
• Women’s health physiotherapy
• Men’s health physiotherapy
• Clinical one-to-one Pilates
• Running assessment
• Cycling MOT
• Ergonomic assessments
This includes:
• Acupuncture – most of our physiotherapists are fully trained in acupuncture for pain relief
• Clinical Pilates – many of our physiotherapists are qualified to teach Pilates as part of a treatment programme
• Manipulative/hands-on treatment – ranging from soft tissue release and joint manipulation to specialist sports injuries techniques
• Splinting – including custom thermoplastic splints for hand therapy patients
• Use of the latest state-of-the-art gym equipment, suitable for the social to elite athlete
• Video analysis of functional movements to assist in the assessment and treatment of movement dysfunction, e.g. running or tennis serves
