                 Delray Medical Center Recognized
                 as a Center of Excellence for TCAR

              Delray Medical Center, the first hospital in South Florida to perform the
            Trans Carotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) procedure to treat carotid
            artery disease and help prevent future strokes, is now a center of excel-
            lence for this procedure. This recognition by Silk Road Medical designates
            Delray Medical Center as South Florida’s only TCAR Center of Excellence.
              This achievement honors both Delray Medical Center and Joseph
            Ricotta, M.D., Regional Medical Director of Vascular Surgery and
            Endovascular Therapy for Tenet Healthcare, who proudly accepted the
            award from Silk Road Medical. This designation notes that Delray Medical

                                              FAU Launches New Second-degree,


                                   Part-Time Bachelor of Science in Nursing Track

           Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing has launched a new second-degree part-time track in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) pro-
          gram at FAU’s Davie campus.
           FAU’s new BSN degree is designed to prepare working professionals with a bachelor’s degree or higher in another discipline, as professional nurses who are eligible to
          take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®) to secure licensure as a registered nurse.
           The new program will commence on Saturdays beginning this August, and FAU’s College of Nursing will start accepting applications on Friday, March 15. The appli-
          cation period closes on Monday, July 15.
           Course scheduling formats for the program will include a live class one evening a week, as well as on weekends, through online courses, and live-streaming delivery
          course formats. With enrollments during six consecutive semesters, students can complete their BSN degree in two years.
           Features of the program include a dedicated state-of-the-art education facility on FAU’s Davie campus, clinical experiences in Broward County, and a dedicated program
          adviser who guides the students in the working professional BSN track with the same sequence of classes and educational support from admission to graduation. The VIP
          concierge service is a full-service, all-inclusive BSN track specifically designed for those who have busy personal and professional commitments, as well as those who pre-
          fer the convenience of a full-service, structured cohort program.
