Salatul - Taraweeh are optional
prayers performed after salat al Isha
during Ramadan,
They start from the evening the moon
is sighted and end at the end of
Ramadan
which is 30 days. Salatul - Taraweeh
are either 8,12 or 20 rakat it's up to
you. People take breaks every 4 rakat
because people usually want to
attempt a khatm (Read the whole
Quran) so they would recite at least
one juz (part) every day.
