Dear Readers,
We are once again very pleased to present HR News Letter 4th edition which is basically the final writing for year -2019 but hesitant not to say we have really enjoyed and remain appreciative for the amount of valuable comments and inputs from our distinguished readers which aimed at improving the quality of our offerings.
Employees are among an organization’s most important resources and coined as most valuable assets and as such the amount of work performed by them has a direct impact on the productivity of an organization. So, maintaining healthy employee relations in an organization is a pre-requisite for any organization in order to achieve growth and success.
Today Employee Relations (ER) is a much broader concept which involves maintaining a work environment that satisfies the needs of individual employees and management. Henceforth, setting

Like in any other organization, CRDB Bank is no exception and in the recognition of the eminent values that can be derived from ER programs and considering the transformational changes going on, the Bank has re-organized its HR Department by revamping its focus on Employee Relations (ER) through creation of an independent unit which will basically oversee all elements of Employee Relations within the Bank.
With the understanding that people are generally motivated from within, the Employee Relations Unit will predominantly focus on creating “an environment where employees will be able to utilize their fullest potentials”.
The “environment” where all employees will:
• Be trusted, treated fairly and with respect.
• Enjoy on what they do and where they do it.
• Have fun and enjoyment to each other.
Since the Bank’s success is directly linked with the performance of its employees there is a need to maintain strong employee relations initiatives which will benefit our employees and enable them put their best efforts. Motivated employees have higher level of work engagement, reduced turnover and better performance as compared to disengaged employees.
Hence managing these relationships becomes important for business success, as strong and healthy relationships can lead to greater employee happiness and even increased productivity.
