Two trails lead to Bridal Veil Falls, where hikers can walk
behind the 90-foot water fall. Some visitors may prefer to use the
overlook, conveniently located near the parking lot.
Sandy Beach is a beautiful public beach on the shores of Greers
Ferry Lake. With a volley ball court, tables, and grills steps from
the sand, it is an ideal spot for a fun-fi lled day on the beach.

Spring Park is home to seven mineral springs which have
attracted visitors since 1830. Th e park has a skateboard park,
playgrounds, basketball courts, two outdoor ampitheaters, public
retrooms, a pavillion, and picnic tables.
Greers Ferry Lake is a 40,000 acre lake, with deep, crystal clear
water which makes it ideal for water sports, scuba diving, and
sailing. Also know for its superb fi shing, the lake holds the state
record for walleye and striped bass.
Sugarloaf Mountain rises 690 feet, providing a panoramic view of
the city and the Little Red River. An informational exhibit at the
base of the mountain has detailed directions for hikers regarding
the four trails accessible at the base.

Th e largest population of Trumpeter Swans in the southeast
United States descends in an area just a few miles east of Heber
Springs annually, November through February.

Visitors Center introduces visitors to the history of Greers Ferry
Dam and the Little Red River Th e Mossy Bluff and Buckeye Trails,
and the Mossy Bluff Disc Golf Course are located just behind the

Historic Downtown Heber Springs features unique shops,
antique stores, art galleries, and eateries. At least once a month
you can fi nd an event going on in downtown Heber Springs.
