WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY
It is submitted that this unit celebrated “The World Envt Day” on 05 Jun 2018. The
unit organized mass plantation drive& lec at various locs in the AOR. Offr and tps of
the Bn in collaboration with school auth and volunteers planted approximately 300
saplings of different varieties. Saplings were also distr to various schools under its
area of resp.
The Jt efforts of the AR and the Manipur Forest Department were assisted by the
local populace to make the event successful. This initiative has not only created a
healthy bonding in the society but also spread awareness on the importance of
greener and cleaner environment.
