SINGHAT BATTALION CARRIES OUT CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE DRIVE

SINGHAT BATTALION under the aegis of CHURACHANDPUR
SECTOR carried out a cleanliness and maintenance drive as part of
its 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan' measures. The Officers and Troops of
the SINGHAT BATTALION alongwith a JCB of the unit cleaned and
maintained the main water canal at Khuga Dam, that provides
water to the locals in Khuga and its neighbouring villages.

The Public Works Department approached the COB Khuga
Commander requesting for assistance and the same was provided
instantly. The team comprising of protection Party and the JCB
worked for 5 hours to carry out cleaning and maintenance of the
canal so that the people who are dependent upon it get
uninterrupted supply of clean water for their use.
