The ASME Adaptive Structures and Material Systems Technical Committee Local high school students will be attending the conference to participate

Get together with your friends and tour local areas of Stowe, Vermont.
The ASME Adaptive Structures and Material Systems Technical Committee
organized the Best Student Hardware Paper Competition as part of the
ASME/AIAA Conference on Smart Materials, Adaptive Structures and STUDENT NETWORKING LUNCH
Intelligent Systems (SMASIS). Entrants in the competition will be judged by 12:00PM–1:30PM
a committee of smart materials and structures experts and a list of finalists Thursday, September 29th
will be determined based upon the technical paper. Finalists are required Pick up lunch in Great Room at Spruce Camp and meet in Oak
to present their papers at a regular conference session and must
participate in a special exhibit session on September 28, 2016 to
demonstrate hardware operation and a present a poster explaining the Network with your colleagues from around the world by participating in
nature of the project. All finalists will be honored during the Pioneer lively discussions to meet new people and initiate future collaborations.
