INSTRUCTIONS
begin
Measure and cut 4 pieces of 6.5m[22ft] yarn and 1 piece of 2.5m[8.2ft] yarn. Fold all the long yarns in half and mark the half way point (use a marker). Tie a wrapped knot around all long yarns at the half way mark using the 2.5m[8.2ft] piece.
Now you have 2 groups of 4 yarns separated by the wrapped knot. Place the wrapped area on a secure hook on the wall to continue knot tying.
continue
Measure 0.5m[1.6ft] down the wrapped area for each group of 4 yarns and tie square knots 10 times on both groups.
Measure down a further 0.8m[2.6ft] from your last square knot (length depends on how high you would like your table base to be).
Split the yarns into 2 groups for each end of the square knots and wrap it around your table base.
Measure the design against the table base you are using and mark the point where your finishing knots should rest at the base of the wooden plank.
For the finishing knots, try to be as creative as you can! You can either do braids, spiral stitch knot or wrapped knot.
end
Tie a basic overhand knot and cut off the ends to lengths of your preference. -x-
