1. Routine cleaning such as laying your bed as soon as you rise from it, picking bits
of dirt as you go by, doing your dishes immediately after meals.
2. Ensure all your items are properly organised. Put books on a shelf or a carton,
fold/hang clothes properly, arrange like items in the same place etc
3. Get your family delightfully involved in chores. For instance I will make my kids
sing a rhyme or play a run around game with them while making them tidy up.
And as for hubbae, I may jokingly promise him something special before bed
(*winks*).
4. Organize your cleanings into sections and keep them timed. For example, you
could do Laundry and baths at the same time, sweep and dust surfaces together,
keep beds and fold clothes at the same time within a time frame of say 30minutes
for each rounds.
5. Be spontaneous. Certain chores should be done on the go and not postponed
till later otherwise they will become uphill tasks. E.g clean up surfaces as soon as
you are done using them, pick up bits of handy liters such as torn papers or fallen
hairs from your weaves.
6. Clean morning and night for short times. Night cleanings are especially
important so that you wake to a clean home and it helps your start your day on a
bright note.
