It’s been wonderful to work with talented, engaged and hardworking students. Thanks especially to the Postcolonialism and Cape Town classes, and to all who have supported our academic community.
A special mention for those who missed out on final year fieldtrips:
I hope you have the opportunity to see and experience as critical geographers the places (like Enkanini in the Western Cape) to which you were unable to travel. Remember that curiosity and imagination creates understanding, and understanding transforms information into knowledge and knowledge into wisdom.
A fairer, more just and liveable world needs your wisdom.
